It can improve the water resistance of the paint, heat resistance, wear resistance, impact resistance. Barium sulphate is a cheap and effective white inorganic light stabilizer which can avoid the aging of the paint surface and it can also be used as strengthening agent in the coating because it has very high filling and oil absorption is not high so that it can make the cost of all kinds of oily coating, water-based coating decreased significantly.
