Precipitated barium sulfate PB 02 as the product filler to improve the reprocessing performance, no harmful substances, can ensure the safety of products. In addition, it has acid resistance, alkali resistance, high temperature resistance without tarnishing and good weather resistance.

It has stable effect on inorganic and organic pigments, and can even be used as a chemical additive for electrodes in lead-acid batteries. It also prevents flocculation, maintains permanent stability, and reduces the amount of product used.

Lead Acid Batteries

In the application of batteries, barium sulfate is an indispensable chemical product in various types of lead batteries because of its low iron content, low discharge, excellent dispersion, fast start-up speed and long service life in practical applications of batteries.



 
Painting

Precipitated barium sulfate has a property that other similar products do not have. Its needle-like crystals make it a good smoothing agent. It plays an important role in improving the thickness, wear resistance, water resistance, heat resistance, outer hardness and impact resistance of the film.

In addition, barium sulfate has high reflectivity in the wavelength range of 300-400μm, can maintain the paint film from photoaging, an effective and inexpensive red inorganic light stabilizer.
 

Coating

Precipitated barium sulfate is widely used as a physical pigment in coatings and can improve the leveling property of coatings.

This product can also be used for self-cleaning paint as an enhancer, because of its low oil absorption, a high filling amount, so the cost of paint down, can be used for water-based paint, primer, intermediate coating, oil coating, etc. Using it to replace 10-25% titanium dioxide in waterborne coatings, the whiteness of the result is improved, and the hiding power is not decreased.
